Our story
Started twelve years ago,
is still going strong.
Koala Creek by Hans Verlinden over twelve years ago. It all Koala Creek with a passion for 4×4 driving, a lack of truly high-quality roof tents, and the belief that things could be done better.
Drawing on his technical background, Hans began talking to manufacturers. He laid out his requirements and, step by step, developed his own roof tents. Well-designed, sturdy, built to last for years, and, best of all, affordable.
Now there are just the two of us. Father and son, driven by the same love of adventure. Our rooftop tents travel from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany to destinations all over the world.
The Australian roots of our name are reflected in our models. Eiger, Teide, Outback: each and every one of these is a place you don’t just happen to visit—and where you need a tent you can rely on. Something we’re proud of.
